Hi! I'm Matt
I’m a father and former firefighter. After 20 years of public service, I hung up my helmet to pursue my passion and do the dad thing better. I founded Calioh Coffee in 2015 with a deep curiosity about coffee. I love everything about it! I always found myself on a crusade to make coffee slightly better in every sense. My passion continues today. You can find me at the cafe tweaking the espresso recipe ever so slightly to pull out greater sweetness and nuance, or at the roastery profiling exciting new coffees from the far reaches of the world.
